Our construction methods are designed to create homes that are energy efficient, low-maintenance and longer lasting than any typical wood-frame construction. Our homes are built from recycled materials including steel, Styrofoam, concrete and even computer housings. And because we build them in a controlled manufacturing environment, we can utilize more of our materials resulting in less waste. Our units are pre-engineered and designed to fit a range of needs and budgets.
Single CUBIT Fact Sheet
SIZE:
12' x 8' unit using steel construction and customized to fit your needs. Constructed for pad location or travel trailer. Great as a complete micro-home, emergency housing, site office, backyard drop in for storage or personal work/creative space. Single CUBITS can be constructed for pad locations or as a travel trailer.
Square footage: 96 sq/ft per cube
WEIGHT
3,000 to 7,000 lbs depending on options. Trailer option adds approx. 2,000 lbs.
INSULATION:
Combination of styrofoam and spray insulation in walls, floor and ceiling.
EXTERIOR:
Typically pre-finished lap siding and trim with steel accents and steel roof (other options available) . Full light 36" glass entry door. Low-E windows.
STANDARD INTERIOR PACKAGE:
Vinyl plank flooring throughout. Sheetrock walls with double-taped seams. Standard paint color options. Track lighting.
STANDARD KITCHEN PACKAGE:
Five feet of cabinetry, single stainless steel sink, chrome fixtures. Laminate or tile countertops with coordinating backsplash.
PLUMBING:
3/4" pex water lines, on demand LP or electric hot water heater.
TRAILER OPTION:
CUBITS units can be constructed as an RV, complete with VIN number. Cost is determined by size and number of axels.
OTHER OPTIONS:
Smart TV, stone countertops, USB outlets, window shades, screened porch extension. Off Grid Options can include solar panels, storage tanks, etc. Pricing upon request.
